​This tour starts in Kokanee Park Marina (5110 Highway 3A )  , where you are given an historical introduction  and heads East on the Upper  West Arm , goes by the Harrop cable ferry ,  Sunshine bay ( old steam boat centre - historical significance ) ,  passes by Procter , circles at Balfour and returns .

Kootenay Wild's Upper West Arm & Main Kootenay Lake Boat Tour ( 3 hours )

This tour includes the West Arm and heads out into the main body of Kootenay Lake.

We pass by Balfour on our way to the Pilot Bay Light House and Smelter Stacks . We go by the Kootenay Lake Ferry Terminal and along the Riondel Shoreline , before we cross the main lake to Ainsworth . On our return , we pass by Coffee Creek and Queens Bay .  Wildlife sitings may include Bald Eagles , Osprey , Deer , Grizzly , Black Bear and Elk .
