Welcome to Richard and Pat Rowland's home and  Kootenay Wilds' Guest Suites . 

Richard and Pat raised their family in Calgary, Alberta.  After retirement they travelled the world extensively and eventually landed in the West Kootenays to enjoy their favorite activities and passion for the outdoors .

The Rowland's are looking forward to hosting travellers from North America and abroad, and helping them to enjoy the beauty of this region. 

Nestled between the Selkirk Mountains to the west, and the Purcell Range to the east, our Accommodation provides you with a panoramic view of the West Arm of Kootenay Lake. This wilderness setting is a vacation destination offering you a challenging round of golf, the fishing trophy of your dreams, beautiful  beaches at Kokanee Creek Provincial Park, breath taking hiking  trails at Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park, all followed by relaxing at our Ainsworth Hot Springs. Spectacular mountain views, surrounding expanses of wilderness, and the beauty of Kootenay Lake, all combine to make Kootenay Wild's suites  an excellent base for your outdoor adventure.
